Radio Warrington broadcasts 24 hours a day from Warrington Market and has a number of programmes that focus on the town’s arts, culture & heritage scene including the Culture Show (Thursdays 8-10pm) and the MyWarrington Show (Fridays 12noon-3pm). WARRINGTON HISTORY SOCIETY
Established in 1964 to encourage an interest in all aspects of local history with particular reference to Warrington and its surrounding area. Organises lectures, visits to interesting places and more.
WARRINGTON LITERARY & PHILOSOPHICAL SOCIETY
Organises a programme of stimulating lectures followed by a lively question and answer session on topics including science, art, history, politics, music and literature.
